This is probably the best site on this site of the campground. Did have to adjust in the site (moving further back) to get everything level, but if you stand off at a distance you can see where the level patch is (we're in a 35' MH). Great unobstructed view of the water, and neighboring sites are angled different providing great privacy on the camping side. Bathrooms are definitely dated, and water pressure in the bathrooms wasn't great. We ended up taking showers on the rig and using our dump buddy to go to the dump station (not too far away and a decent dump station).

The attendants/host at the gate were exceptional, we were approached by a couple about our camping spot, we all went to the gate & they handled it nicely, apparently they were at he wrong park & the attendants quickly dismissed us as they verified our reservations. The couple was very difficult, rude & hard to deal with, they kept arguing with the attendants but they kept their cool. They were so nice, said people do that all the time, they had the patience, good for them.

Lofers bend was super nice park. 180 degree views from most camp site. We choose one right on the bank of the lake but the next time we will most likely pick one a little further into the trees to help with wind block. Great Lake for fishing, or just simply hanging out by a camp fire. ππΌππΌ

Nice park. Great site. #63 will hold a special place in my heart. I got engaged there. Next time, if you could turn the wind down a hair, that would be great. Haha

We loved it here! Beautiful, clean, grass was cut! Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean also. We would definitely recommend and go back. Checked out the State Park and Lofers Bend was a million x better!

Lofers Bend West offers nice views of Lake Whitney. In the summer, the waters of the lake are sheltered from prevailing southerly wind, offering a prime spot for waterskiers and wakeboarders. Winds can be kicking up rough water some one hundred yards out, but close to the bluffs, it's smooth glass! The park itself offers campsites near the water and others on the bluffs that offer welcome shade under the trees. There is also ample opportunity to hike along the shore toward the dam or through the park. Lofers Bend is a place our family has enjoyed for some fifty years. We continue to enjoy it! Keep up the good work, USACE!

Mobile Data Speed Map

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
