My husband, family, and I are frequent visitors to Lake Whitney and Lofers Bend West is one of our very favorite places to stay. Very well kept, clean, and great environment. Keep up the good work guys.

camp site had electrical problems with the elec service. Kept shutting power off in camper. Also noticed that they need to upgrade some of the electrial outlets not enough 50 amp service to pull the large campers now days

About the best maintained Corps of Engineer park we have ever used. During our stay, a strong thunderstorm came through and blew down several trees and branches. Fortunately, no campers were damaged that I saw. Workers were there the next day cleaning up the debris. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that several of the campsites have slopes that make leveling your RV a bit challenging.

This is my favorite campground of all I’ve been to! And since I camp on the road 6 months of the year, I’ve been to a lot of campgrounds. The only kind of negative thing is that the showers could have been a little bit cleaner and updated. But unfortunately I could say that about 90% of campground bathrooms and showers.

Lofer's Bend Park West is the best maintained Corps of Engineer park I have ever stayed at. The campsites are clean, mowed, and well spaced. The park is kept mowed in the summer and not just up by the campsites. The areas in between and the roadsides are mowed and trimmed producing a clean, safe appearance. The dump station is level which allows for complete draining of RV holding tanks. The boat ramp is nicely angled into the water and there is a pier next to it that is raised and lowered with the lake level to make boarding a boat easy. We will definitely return for future camping trips.

The boat dock is an excellent dock. We enjoyed staying at the campsite and the restrooms with showers, can't beat that. Thanks for a wonderful time at this campsite.

The campsite was clean. Gate attendant was very helpful and friendly.
