Had my son's 18th birthday party here and it went great. Decided to stay a few more days here and enjoy the view of the lake from my camping spot. Very relaxing!

The campsite was amazing and the fellow campers were courteous. Definitely recommend staying here. The park staff were friendly and good people.

The trees need to be trimmed throughout the park, in order to get your RV to the campsite and into the campsite. The in park dump station has been out of order for quite some times. Therefore, you have to use the station outside the park. Very inconvenient.

It is very quiet. Lots of deer. And from May thru September has plenty of water recreation. Fishing all year. There are three very good restaurants in the area. Within 5 miles. Boondocks bait n more. They have Broasted chicken and various other things. Very good. Best chicken I've ate hands down. Then you have a sit down n be serve or order out All American style restaurant called Texas Country Cafe. Very good food. Then the Brazos Resort across the damn. This is a restaurant and hotel. With a bar. There's Hoot and Hollern BBQ. Friday night all you can eat catfish. There are various Mexican restaurants and pizza places. There's a food truck called The Fishing Cow at the y in Whitney that has great take out Mexican and BBQ. The potato salad is very good. Of course I might be a little prejudice because I was raised on Lake Whitney. But I've traveled a lot and it is by far the prettiest lake I've been to.

Lofers Bend West is a great campground. The park host go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. The make sure the campers have a wonderful experience. The cleaning crew does a super job. Plenty of big trees lots of shade. Great access to the lake, nice swim area. You will see different wildlife and plenty of birds. I also want to thank the U S Army Corps of Engineers.

The campground is very scenic lots of trees and shade and super views of the lake. The park host take great care of the people camping. I want to thank the park host for excellent customer service. Also the bathrooms are very clean and I want to thank the cleaning crew. The park has plenty of great RV camp and tent sites. You will see deer in the evening and lots of birds all day long. Again thanks to the park host for all they do for the campers.

The park host and his wife are great and very helpful. The park is very clean, lots of wildlife. Lake views are lovely.

Excellent camp host and staff. The campground is very clean. Great view of the lake. The deer survived the Texas freeze and can be seen morning and evening.

We had a fantastic time. The park is beautiful. The sites was easy to use. The paved roads were great for walking our dog. We will be back soon.

We loved both campsites we reserved, numbers 30 and 28. Both sites were clean and the view of the lake was awesome. The restrooms and showers were clean and sanitized. The camp hosts made frequent drive through and were friendly and courteous. Will definitely come back frequently.
