We love Lofers West, spend every holiday there in the summer. We were there over Memorial Day and the gravel part of our site (as well as others) was almost completely covered in grass/weeds. Also, we want our gate attendants back, please!!!!

Nice park, our site had a nice view. Park employees doctored a couple of fire ant beds in our camp when we showed them. Nice people.

Trees need trimmed! All around the dump station limbs are too low and drag top of campers. Roads need repairs. Park needs cleaned!

Great park, with tons of wildlife and some great views of the lake!

One of the best places we have ever stayed. Would it be nice if they had sewer hookup? Sure.. Is that a dealbreaker? Nope

We had A great stay and enjoyed some epic sunsets

Love the way that the lots are spread out with plenty of space. Love seeing the deer. The lake is absolutely beautiful. Will definitely visit Lofers Bend again

North Concho campground - Spacious sites. Quiet. Only negative is the site was covered with goatheads which stuck to everything.

Camp was somewhat empty, but host was always available. The entire campground was well maintained , bathrooms were clean.
Being secluded by Covid made our stay so enjoyable seeing the huge lake and herds of deer. The closeness to the town of Whitney made it convenient to pick up food to carry back to camp.
We left a day early with snow threatening the next day which came true. Can 't wait to go back.
