The campground was fantastic, and absolutely gorgeous views of the lake and sunsets. If I find myself near Ennis Texas, Imwill be camping there again.

The campground is right on Lake Bardwell, has plenty of sites. Our site was clean and level, the restrooms were clean as well and the water was hot in the shower. It is an older campground and could use some road repairs, but besides that is well maintained. Check in was very easy.

Spacious and scenic sites are a real plus for High View. Bathrooms should be better vented as they can get very hot in the summer months. Park staff were helpful and friendly.

Beautiful little park. Clean and well maintained. My only possible complaint was my lot was uneven enough That it took a while to get my RV level, but I really enjoyed being on the water with a nice cool breeze to mitigate the scalding heat wave Texas was having.

Well-maintained campground. We enjoyed our stay, and camp host was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We needed a mobile RV tech, and camp host provided us with an excellent recommendation. We enjoyed the local Ennis Czech festival and polka dancing while we were there. Our only negative was witnessing a rather sad situation with another camper who appeared to be living at the campground in what looked like an old broken down motor home procured from a salvage yard (broken windows, missing AC unit, filthy with black streaks, etc.) She would move around to different campsites and even across the street from the campground over the weekend when it was busy. It was very sad to see someone who was obviously struggling. The kind rangers seemed to look the other way and let her come and go, according to another camper we spoke to.

The lady in the check in booth on Thursday and Friday was very unfriendly and almost rude and seemed to be just generally bitter. Was told by another camper that they experienced a similar experience. The man on duty for the weekend was very friendly and helpful. The grass was not mowed around the campsite, but overall it was a good experience.

The pumping station was out and the irrigation system sprayed nonstop without having the tablets in it. Came back from work and the power was out. The guy at the front didnt really want to help because he said me and my wife only work the weekends. The couple that work the week had a medical emergency. This was on a Wednesday. I would choose any other park rather than highview

Beautiful park... 1st time we camped there and will definitely be back... when we inquired about the bad mowing job we were told that the equipment broke but that they were working on it... other then that gate attendant were awesome and always had smiles...

Beautiful quiet and well maintained. Managers we do friendly and helpful. Excellent experience.
