The hosts were great and very accommodating. Our site, #25, has a great view of the lake and is listed at 71 feet long. The slight grade was substantial and is one of the more difficult sites weve ever set up on. A short camper is more appropriate for this site. Many sites in the campground had slight grades. We experienced a barking dog at the next site. It took the rangers 24 hours to address the barking, but they did. We will not go back.

Site # 25 was a clean, view great, water and electricty hookup...all great! The only , ONLY...issue was signage of sights. Sights are marked on the road, but need some posts with sight #'s on it. Clean, beautiful lake, the Blue Bonnets are blooming in the Hill Country! The rains make the whole area beautiful!

This was a lovely park, quiet, safe, beautiful lake. We stayed for 5 nights. Ennis is a delightful little community close by. The staff were very helpful. We arrived early and were accommodated by parking our RV near the entrance until our spot was vacated. The roads in the park could use some maintenance.

The host were so sweet and friendly. The lot was clean and the lake was beautiful. I have a 15 month old so I had to keep close tabs on him outside and the dogs (which I do regardless) because the the straight drop off from land to water was about 3 feet. Either way we weren’t planning on swimming so it didn’t matter really. Would recommend but there are only a few spots for bigger trailers like our 34 footer. So look before booking.

The park is in pretty bad shape. Roads have potholes. Sites have concrete boarders which makes it hard to back in.

Very nice park. I didn't try the bathrooms/showers, but did have some dealings with the ranger im charge who was a very nice lady that helped me change my space. I stayed two nights, and there were very few other people there, but probably because it was so hot the weekend I stayed.

Our 2 weeks spent at High View was good while in the middle of COVID19. We enjoyed our space, not close to other people and had lots of fun. The only drawback was bathrooms not being disenfected, but we survived.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
