Nice quiet park. We did not care for our site 88. It was our fault for not looking how close IH35 is from this site. You could hear the highway noise all day and night since interstate was maybe 1/4 across the lake from this particular loop. If we would stay at this park again, we would choose a loop on the other side of the park so that we wouldn't see or hear IH35.

Nice basic camp ground. November, thing were quite. Rest room clean. Site clean. Office attendant friendly.

We were in site 88 right on the lake. Beautiful, large quiet site. Signage was excellent for finding the site.

We had a fabulous time! Site 88 was perfect for our needs. This was our 'maiden voyage' for us as we had just purchased the rv trailer and had never been camping in an rv before. Ahhhh...it was the life of camping luxury! Thanks for the great experience. We will be back when the weather cools.

I live in Denton and Hickory Creek is my go to camp ground since COVID. The staff/hosts are great! Restrooms & showers are kept clean, large campsites but could use wider pads to accommodate at least 2 vehicles because the roads do get congested if you have visitors. They also need a play area or 2 for the kids. There used to be one, but it was removed a couple years ago. But still my favorite, local campground.

We have stayed at this campground several times and have enjoyed our stay each time. The sites are spacious with asphalt pads. Most have water access and some shade. The bathrooms/showers are a little dated and could use some upgrades. Verizon and AT&T have good signal along with OTA TV channels. Places to eat and shop are close and easy to get to.

Very nice and clean campground. I wish there was a playground as they advertise on their signs through the park, but there arent any. The bathrooms are ok, but not one that Id use if I could help it. Its nice that they have showers though.

The campsites are clean and have ample space. The restrooms and showers are clean! Very friendly park hosts. But do be careful of copperheads!

This is a great park. Spaces are not crowded, the campground is really pretty, and it feels safe.

We love this park! Our favorite part is there's no day use. We've had issues before with waking up and there would be a family setting up shop in our camp area. This will be the only local park we stay at from now on.

We were in site 88. Had great view of the lake and plenty of grass around you for your pets. Bathrooms are clean and showers are good. Plenty of activity around you lots of fast food and nice restaurants. Close to Denton and Dallas and DFW airport.

We always enjoy our visits to Hickory Creek COE park. The park host, Bobby Travis was seen daily cleaning the sites after each departure. The gate attendance Joseph, is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The park ground keepers do a good job. Everyone working together makes this park a very enjoyable one to visit.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful gate agents. Loop host was friendly. He was observed often, picking up trash and painting lantern poles. The park is lovely and well maintained. We appreciated the large camping sites, covered picnic tables and fire rings. I wish there was full hookups including sewer at the sites. I appreciated the lighted electric pedestal. The street light at the dump station is not working. This was our first visit but not our last.
