We really like this campground. Spacing is great for most sites and the views of the lake, even from off lake sites, is stunning. The only downside is there's lots of air traffic going into DFW that can be noisy at times.

Loved the visit. The 115 and 50 amp service at space 77 does not work. The outlet is too worn on the 50 amp.The 115 volt has not juice.

Overall a very nice campground. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and most of those days were cold and wet. Even so, the campground was pretty full. With this campground being in a densely populated area I would suspect it is jammed full in the summer. Power and water were solid. We experienced a few brief power blips that were enough to cause electronics (clocks, satellite receiver, Wi-Fi router) to reset. A very minor nuisance.A covered picnic table at each site is a nice touch but few sites that I saw had a way to put chairs under your awning. I would love to return when we can explore more of what the park has to offer.

Easy entry, nice paved sites-but had to level quite a bit. Lovely lake views and large sites.

Sites are spaced very well and most are reasonably level. some you will have to back up hill to park so be prepared for that.
The lady at the front gate will always brow beat you about arriving early.

Great park! Happy with everything except the fact that they close the gates at 10 pm. Wish they had firewood on site for sale for people that dont have any and the fire pits were set all the way in the ground. Nice walking trails and level sites. Ill come back for sure!

I like that there is lots of space between lots. The covered picnic tables are really nice. Will definitely be back many times.

Quiet, good spacing between most sites and the nature is why I keep coming back time and time again.
The thing you've got to keep an eye on is the sights are nestled into the trees and can touch your rv especially slide-outs. Park could do a better job of trimming the trees.. Small ants are problematic too.
