Well, if you dont have a RV, you have a long way to walk to go to the bathroom where we were located

Generally quiet in my experience, although I purposefully camp during the week vs. the weekends. I love having shopping and restaurants nearby. During my last visit, I had two families of ducks entertain me at the water's edge. So cute!

Excellent campground, site large and paved. Needs more then on place for trash. Some of the sewer intakes are too high.

Nice campground, sites are spacious, level and many are shaded. The bathhouses are clean. Ive never seen better grass mowing in any of the COE campgrounds. They really keep it up and the place looks great.

Park is beautiful and the sites are level and spacious. Our negative experience wasnt really the fault of the park at all for the most part. We set up at site 23 which is waterfront with a beautiful view out the back window of our 5th wheel. That was until tent campers set their tent up almost right behind our camper. It was 35 degrees at night and the tent campers were scavenging firewood from all over the park and chopping it to burn ALL night long. All we heard was wood chopping while trying to sleep. Will definitely return we just hope the tent campers arent set up near us again.

The site we were at was very well taken care of and the shade trees made the difference and nice views of the lake. We will come back.

This park is one of our absolute favorites. Sites are great, lake is great, hiking trails are fun as well. We will keep this park as one of our top 2!

This was our first trailer trip. Wanted something fairly close, and we were surprised to find such a nice place this close to Dallas. Spacious, shady sites with plenty of open space between sites. Lot's of wildlife, especially enjoyed the baby deer. Only drawback - lots of airplane noise, apparently on the DFW approach.
