We love Hickory Creek Campground. Its very close to home but still allows you to get in with nature. Very peaceful and nice sites.

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we've ever stayed at. It has beautiful views of a gorgeous lake. There are a lot of deer, ducks and other wildlife. The only thing that is not perfect is the bathroom.

Everything from the bathrooms to the campsites are well kept and with friendly staff, I would recommend Hickory Creek campgrounds to anyone looking for a great experience.

The spaces were fairly level and well spaced. Most have views of the lake. We were there during the cold snap in early January so the showers buildings were a bit chilly to use. Had to let the water run for a number of minutes to get hot water. The park is close to grocery shopping and restaurants. The staff and volunteers were very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great north Texas campground. Clean. Some big sites. Cell service is great. Very pretty. I recommend it to everyone.

Trailer site 91 & 92 on the water. Very nice. Facilities were good at the park level. Park is old but in good shape. Park hosts and staff nice. Close to restaurants, Walmart, grocery store. We will return some day.

Stayed two nights in August, so it was hot, but nowhere near as crowded as our last stay. Schools had just started back, it made for a quiet, peaceful experience. The gate attendants were friendly and helpful. Park was clean and grass was well manicured. Our space backed up to the lake, plenty of room for our 39' coach and two cars. We will be back soon!

Enjoyed the area. RV spaces are distanced well. Covered picnic and tables could use a little TLC. Overall park was a nice.

Was a neat, clean, and updated roads, with well maintained sites. Felt comfortable with the Electrical and Water on our site. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only minus we felt was with getting into park after 9pm, (a curfew like children) since there is no working gate keypad, so you were required to be in by 9pm, omitting your ability to partake in late evening/nite life within the area.
