We always enjoy our time when we camp at Hickory Creek. It would be nice if the playground would come back. Also, a designated swimming beach would be nice.

All the walking pads were clean, the bathroom also was clean. The utilities and the amenities on the campsite were clean and solid (fire pit and BBQ.

Generally a very pleasant experience. Pricing is fair. RV campsites were clean and maintained. Restrooms were not well maintained, and their facilities were not all in working order.

Love the site!
Since our last visit at this site, someone has damaged the fire pit grill, it is severely bent. Also the cooking grill is extremely wobbly and possibly dangerous. The picnic table roof has been in a state of wear & disrepair for a few years.

Great location on Lake Livingston close to everything in Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, and Denton. Very clean park, well maintained. Bath houses are very good. Friendly knowledgeable staff. I really enjoy this park and have stayed here several times.

We absolutely love this park. Almost all of the sites are great, but a few need some updating. We had site 91. It has a beautiful view, but the pad is crumbling on the sides and it slopes. The crumbling sides are treacherous so be careful if you select this site. There is an incline from the pad to the picnic table. The picnic table needs replacing as well as the fire ring.

The site is always great value and a very good location.The only observation I would have is that some of the site facilities look tired and the camping pads could do with being replaced; take out the tarmac and replace with concrete pads.

Great park, excellent views and access to lake. Restrooms very clean as well as the grounds. Just be aware that this park is in the Metroplex and very near DFW airport! You can hear the traffic on I-35 and the park is apparently in the flight path for DFW airport. No day use allowed, but they seem to allow an unlimited number of "visitors" for each camp site? Lots of traffic in the park, especially on the weekends. With 128 RV sites, one dump station is seriously inadequate. I also had the only site that did not have a covered picnic table. Site #58.

One of our favorite parks. Plenty of great campsites and very quiet since there is no day use allowed. In the middle of the city but doesnt feel that way.

Excellent place to stay. We had an RV spot by the lake which was wonderful. The persons at the entrance gate were very pleasant and helpful. We intend on visiting the park again when visiting family members, who live in the area.

We love this park. Typically camp here every few months. It’s right in the middle of the city but you’d never know it while inside the park.
