We camped here over Thanksgiving weekend and it was great. Very convenient as we have relatives in Dallas and Lewisville.Great to be in the woods with a lake view right in the Metroplex. We will return!

I think this site, though dont have much large flat area, is good enough for a tent-camp. It has the perfect position for the sun set. The main problem for the whole campground is noise, since it is near DFW, there are planes flying by after 10pm.

First of all, I am a "Newbie". I came to this park because it's close to home, good reviews, and groceries nearby. Dana was working the front gate. He was pleasant, helpful, and kind. I purchased a pass because of all the aforementioned!This campground is beautiful. Being new, I booked Lot 11 which is pull-through.When I went o take my "travel day shower" I was amazed that in the middle of winter they were kind enough to provide heating in the dressing area! Boy was that nice. My only concern, after all these good reviews, is they will hike up the price. I hope not, I love it just the way it is. Have already booked Spring and Early summer stays.Please Keep America Beautiful so we continue to to have these wonderful resources.

We love this park. It is always very well maintained, clean restrooms if needed, friendly park hosts, clean campsites. Just nothing negative to say.

We stayed two nights, the first on our way to Arkansas and then on our way back. This way it broke up the long drive from & to home. The campground is beautiful. We were right on the lake in a pull through spot. Our 32 motorhome fit in the back in spot fine, but the pull through was so much easier especially since our back up camera & monitor decided to quit working. I enjoyed waking up to the beautiful lake view. The grounds are so clean and well maintained. We plan to use this campgrounds again anytime we are headed out. Also, having a seniors National Parks pass reduces the daily overnight fees in so many parks including the Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Land Management, National Forests, National Parks etc.

We love this campground. The camp hosts are always so nice and welcoming. Bathrooms are clean and sites are large. Beware, after 10, there is no re-entry until 6 AM and it is 1 mile from the front gate to the campsites. We had to run a kiddo to an emergency clinic one evening and just LEFT without thinking about this. Fortunately, they got him fixed up quickly and we were back in time but we had left our teens at the site and we may have been locked out with no way to get to them. I do wish they could at least give guests a gate code.

The camp ground was very nice and the staff there were very welcoming and friendly. The lady recognized me each time I came back in and was very nice. I wish it had full hookups, but otherwise, I will very likely come back.

This park is our "go to"place when in the Denton TX area. We love being able to park and look out of our RV at the lake park setting. It is especially nice in the evening with the sunset.

Site 11, pull through. Pretty level, site has access to the lake and a dumpster across from it. As always, gate attendants and host campers were welcoming and very polite.

Beautiful setting and overall we had a great experience. We visited in winter and while the bathrooms were clean, they were a little on the cold side! We've seen other parks using heaters very effectively to warm up the shower areas. Also, the water pressure in the showers were low and the water temperature wasn't adjustable. This may be okay for most, but I happen to like scorching hot water. This is the only thing for me between a 4 and a 5 rating. We loved the close proximity to all the conveniences of Denton.
