We really enjoyed Hickory Creek. It is among our top favorite spots. We will be back.

We were looking forward to the weekend camping. Upon arrival we saw that the pictures online did not match the site (93). The tree in the picture is gone and nothing but a stump. The roof on the picnic table is gone so we had no shade whatsoever. We ended up leaving only after one day.

Showers *& bathroom had not been cleaned in a while.Site #93 still did not have a roof over picnic table, been missing fir a couple of years.

This was a gem of a spot . We stayed 14 days while home to visit family an was delightful. The camp host were super .

Great experience on a rare weekend camping trip for us. Park was clean, quiet, no problems! Gate attendant was very helpful and courteous. Can't wait to return soon!

Clean property, very well-kept. There were nice and friendly people at the gate. I felt safe there. This was my first time at HC and was thrilled to find such a nice campsite close to Dallas.

Hickory Creek COE on Lake Lewisville is fast becoming a "go to" park for overnight camping. Although Hickory Creek is well within the DFW metroplex, you feel as though you are away from everything. The check-in process is quite simple and all RV sites I have been in are easily accessible with ample room. The grounds around the camp sites are immaculate. Better than most people keep their own backyard. The hosts obviously take great pride in their areas. Highly recommended.

Hickory Creek on Lake Lewisville is beautiful COE campground; very well maintained with spacious sites and many of them waterfront or at minimum water view. This park also has a boat ramp making it easy for a camper to access the lake without having to leave the park. The sites are maintained very well by the park hosts and the bathrooms are cleaned daily by a contract service. The only reason this park does not receive 5 stars is the fact that there is no sewage hook-up at the site(s). Just as an FYI, you will hear traffic on IH35 during the night hours if you are camping on or very near the peninsula.
