Very disappointed to learn spot #72 was closed for months and opened for our NYE arrival weekend. Hours & hours of constant power outage, blinking lights, and losing electric. Was told it was our surge protector along with others in our group then to find out that we were lied to and was told that a camper had actually knocked down the electric Pole. Was told at 10:00 p.m. to move to a different spot after we had been set up for 5 hours and hauled our firewood approximately 75 ft to the fire pit. We moved the next morning had to reset up it was a big hassle. Very disappointed by being lied to and not having a working camping space. It was not only us it was several others in our general area.

Our stay was the best yet. The site was clean and the hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. Hickory Creek is one of our favorite places to get away

Park is very clean with a lot of water facing spots. Would / and will definitely return. Just wish they had sewer at the spots instead of a station.

The campground is clean and the sites are spacious. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay. Walking to the lake to watch the sunrise was a highlight. We definitely will stay here again.

Clean well managed campground. One of our favorite. Sites are large and mostly shaded.

This is a beautiful secure campground! The staff is great and the shower/restrooms are very good. The weather was not great (it's winter), so we didn't get to take advantage of the lake and outdoor amenities much. I saw bluebirds, ducks, geese, and herons. Everyone is close to the restroom/showers, but, the hot water is a little slow to arrive. There is not a sewer hookup, so we had to be conservative with our water. This is why I used the shower/restroom facilities. There is a dump station on the way out. I would stay again, but, maybe for just a week (we stayed for 11 days in a 40 ft. 5th wheel) because, of the sewer situation. Many sites are pull through. We stayed in site 72, and had easy access down to the lake. Spaces are nicely separated and lots of trees around. I would have given it 5 stars but for the sewer. AT&T worked well, and my hotspot worked great!

The campground was very clean and very easy to navigate. Front gate agents were very helpful especially when I had to stay longer and change sites.
