Covered grill is really nice.

Camp spot was clean. Was able to leave our boat trailer at the camp site. Boat ramp in the campground.

No sewer hookups is the only thing I did not like, everything else is wonderful.

Clean and well maintained park. Our site (32) was pretty tight with barely any privacy. Lakefronts are more spacious. Will grab one of those next time! Still had a wonderful time.

Camped with a few friends and all our dogs.... Had a great time..... We enjoyed the scenery and trails and cooked some really good food. Too bad weekends go by so quickly. Will be coming back soon to enjoy what all this park has to offer...

This is one of my favorite places to camp. Park is quiet and very nicely laid out. A little oasis in the center of the metroplex. Sites appear level, most have electric (30/50 ) water with good pressure. Big rigs have room to navigate with drive thru spaces. Right on the lake, wooded with a herd of deer and t a flock of turkeys roaming the property.Close to shopping and grocery stores. Many returants to choose from all within 15-20 minutes away.Just wish they would slack on the two week stay rule during the slow season.

The park is really nice with beautiful scenic spots of the lake. It's quiet. The People are very nice. We plan on returning. Just wish we could get full hook ups at all the sites.

The Park at Hickory Creek is a beautiful place; however the staff at the gate could stand to be a bit more courteous. We made a reservation and paid for a site on the water that was situated perfect for our camper, but when we arrived someone else was in our spot. We went to the front gate and were told we had to pick a new spot. It seems curious that we had to chose a different site even though we had reservations for a certain site. After speaking to the front entrance workers twice I finally received an apology but was not offered any explanation or compensation for what can only be explained as their mistake. We had initially planned on extending our stay at this park but due to this error we no longer wanted to be here. It is worth noting that the park workers never offered to have the people that were in our spot move to the spot they actually paid for. Again seems curious. We had the reservation and yet somehow we were the ones that were inconvenienced. Our spot was changed and our trip plans changed due to this error. I feel like this could have been handled far better in numerous ways from the beginning. I also feel like that gate worker could have showed some remorse on their error for our inconvenience.
