Excellent park. Good slots, level, lots of green space. Friendly park personnel. I have been to this park several times in the last year and its one of my favorite parks. Close to Dallas and all it offers. Walmart within 5 minutes, Home Depot 7 mins, Sams 10 mins. On Lake Lewisville. Huge lake.

This is one of my favorite COEs. We go several times a year. Location is great, close to Dallas giving access to the big city. Staff is friendly and helpful. Park is clean. Sites are level and long. Bathhouses are typical for a COE, older but they keep them clean. There are paths that go from the loops to the bathhouses. Walmart is 10 minutes away.

The campground was awesome, quiet & clean. Garbage dumpsters nearby. Lots to to do in the area!

The campground itself was great! Well maintained, clean, and seemingly secluded. However, the portion of the campground along the Lake Lewisville shoreline was somewhat noisy 24/7 (highway traffic across the lake). Even so, I would certainly return to this site!

Had a puddle of oil on the trailer site at 3:00 when I arrived. Had to catch the Mx crew the next day to have sand placed on it.

Very nice campsite. Level pad right on the lake. Easy access for the kayak. Not too close to neighbors.

This is a beautiful campground with spacious paved sites and paved roads. It is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The campground hosts keep the park clean and enjoyable.

We always enjoy camping at Hickory Creek. It’s a great location. We enjoy the lakeside sites, covered picnic tables and fire rings. . The camp host, Bobby T., does a wonderful job at keeping the sites clean between guests. I wish the park would add full hookups.

Overall it was a nice experience but a lot of the spots had old equipment like the fire rings and grills. I think there should be a limit on pets also. We camped 2 spots away from people who had 7 dogs 4 of which were puppies.
