Really enjoyed the park. Nice, clean and quiet. We were in site 60 which is a pull-through site on the water. Saw Egrets and ducks on the water. Very spacious. The dump station is in the other loop and you have to go all the way through the loop to get back around to the dump. If there was sewer at each site, we would have stayed more than 4 days. If you need a laundromat, you must go to Jess's Laundry. It is not far at all and the attendant is super nice. They have an app and you can pay with your card so you don't have to carry a lot of cash or coins.

This is a lovely campground and our spot was easy to get to, pull in and hook up. Pretty views of the lake. The dump site was easy and quick.

Quiet and peaceful location during off-season. Well-kept and maintained property. Close to grocery shopping and restaurants. Everyone was very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great park with very nice and helpful Gate Keepers. Only wish they had a gate code, It's hard to be back by 10PM when you are visiting friends and family.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hickory Creek. It was the shakedown run for our new RV 5th wheel and everything went well. Well except for the 106+ temperature. But the campgrounds were clean and neat and everything at our site worked great. Will definitely be back in the near future.

We had a beautiful spot. It was just so very cold during our stay. We will come back. It's convenient to our kids and close to places to eat. We just seem to get TV on the antenna very well. It comes and goes.

This place is a hidden gem! So many great spots but this is one of my favorites. It gives direct access to the lake without being near it. My dogs loved having stretching room. Also if you walk around the endge of the water there is a perfect spot for a tranquil moment for yoga or to read a book and you feel perfectly alone.The bathrooms are a close enough to use the showers and such but far enough to be out of thought. The dumbster is across but not right in front. We loved the couple at the gate super friendly and sweet. Definitely coming back again.

We always enjoy our visits to Hickory Creek. The sites and grounds are always clean. Many people have their favorite sites, as we do, because of the need for shade and a level area.

We stayed in site #60 (a pull through) and had beautiful views of the lake. Lots of friendly campers throughout. We loved that the campground was so close to a few stores when we needed some items. Great location! We saw the terrific camp hosts several times through out the weekend taking care of items to make the sites neat and tidy. Dump Station was an easy in and out. The bathrooms needed attention and were a little dirty and had some spiders. They need to do more cleaning! Kinda gross. We loved it overall and will come back soon.

Beautiful property near the lake. Very clean facilities. Trash cans emptied and no trash on campsite. Picnic tables clean and fire pit was too. We went when it was a little too cold at night so we only stayed one night with 1 and 3 year old. We chose this campsite because it advertised a playground but we found out that they had not had one in over a year. The kids enjoyed hiking and we took them to a nice park nearby so overall was nice to be close to Dallas and still be out in nature.

Great campground near FtWorth and Dallas. Close to highway for convenience but not a lot of road noise. Spacious sites and easy backing and pullthrus.

We set up for one night for my daughter to have a small bday party with her friends. It was our first time and we found the park and facilities clean and well maintained. Friendly folks all around. Very pretty setting in the middle of a bustling metro area. We will be back.

This is the perfect place to camp. The electric is definitely plus. We loved the campsites and they were more than 6 feet away from the next campsite so the social distancing was perfect. We will definitely be back.
