Love this park! Almost all the spots are nice and roomy. Most by the lake are the best because they have lots of trees / shade and quite a bit of room to spread out and not be right on top of your neighbors. The ducks and deer almost always make an appearance somewhere during our stay and are such fun to watch. We always stay here before getting ready for a lengthy trip elsewhere just to ensure our RV is ready to roll.

Nice wooded park on Lake Lewisville. We were in site 7. Level site with plenty of length for 33 ft 5th wheel and truck. Site had some lake view. Bathrooms were clean but need some updating. We sure didnt feel like we were in DFW except for the planes.

We love COE properties. They are consistent from state to state (At least from wheat we have experienced). We had a back in site with ample room to park the 5th wheel and truck on the site. The bathrooms were very large and clean. The showers could use some hooks and warmer water but not bad at all. Some of the bathroom stalls did not have operational locks as some maintenance could be done there.

We enjoyed our stay at Hickory Creek, site 7. We had a decent view of the water. Would be a great campground for boating, fishing, skiing but we were there in February so didn't do any of that. No hiking trails worth noting, unfortunately. Dump station was great, hubs said best yet. Didn't use any of the other facilities. Staff at gate were nice.

Beautiful spot with a view of the lake and lots of trees. Close to necessary shopping. My favorite place to stay while visiting my family. It is kept very well groomed and everything works. Bath houses are very pleasant.

Nice camp spots. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location. Facilities are terrible. Toilets broken waiting for parts.
Also, loud obnoxious campers near us. Would not stay here again until facilities in better shape

Quiet hidden in the woods by the lake. Great place to camp.

Nice that the camping sites are spread out, not close to your neighbor.
Picnic tables need a refresh with NEW wood seats.
Trees need trimming so RVers can use their awnings.
Power pedestals need to be spayed for bugs during camping season, nothing like plugging in power with spiders and crawling around.

there were partyers in 3 campgrounds around us. These campsites had as many as 7 cars in their campsite and many people. Very loud music to 3 am. Did not know that this has become a party campground.

I had to cancel my reservation and the cancellation fee was as much as my camping fee. $30.

Quiet setting with all amenities in working order. We needed to make a drive to Texas and sought to do that in a physically distanced manner. Hickory Creek campground was the perfect answer for the two nights at our destination. We will visit again.
