We are regulars at HC, typically staying in the loop 82 thru 90, this visit we tried the other side in spot 35, it was awesome! Park is always spotless and gate attendants are super friendly. Our only complaint - the fish were on vacation! Not a single bite and normally we catch 3or 4, lol Obviously HC cant help us here. Probably crazy weather and confused fish.?. Always enjoy our stay at this park!

We had a great stay at Hickory Creek. We love the private boat ramp, the many deer sightings and the quiet park.

Reservations were easy to make online. Check-in was easy. Campsite was nice and clean as was the whole campground. Restrooms were clean and taken care of. Located near plenty of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. Near the highway and easy to access. There are really nice sites that are pull through's and you can open your door to the lake for some really nice sunsets. Lots of sites are near the water, so good for fishing or swimming with the younger ones.

Campsite, toilets, and showers were clean, and well maintained, with everything working. Also there is good spacing between campsites, so that you don't feel like you are on top of each other. Overall a great experience.

Nice big sites with a grill, table, fire pit and even a Shepards hook for your hanging basket. Definitely one of my favorite camp grounds. Close enough to the highway for easy access but couldnt hear it at all from the site I was at.

Friendly front gate staff, bathrooms clean, I wish people would pick up after their dog craps. Love it there!

We love Hickory Creek and this was our second stay at the facility. We love that we can camp somewhat near our home and get the feeling of being far away. The sites are in good shape and the RV hookups are well maintained. Our only disappointment is that the gates lock at 10:00pm. We had a last minute situation arise that was going to prevent us from getting back to our RV before 10:00. The gate attendant told us there was nothing he could do - and that we could leave our car at the gate and take an Uber to our event (which would have cost us roughly $200 in Uber fees.) As a result, we essentially forfeited 1 1/2 day's worth of RV time and park fees.

Spot #35 is right on the water, lots of room for kids to run around and enjoy. Lots of trees and shade.

Very clean, and the sites are spacious. It's big enough to enjoy nature yet close enough to town in case you needed to grab anything.
