The site we had was what was 26 which was a pull through. It was on the lake side and a beautiful view. The site was clean and well-maintained. They had deer visit us for two mornings. The ducks and geese were fine also. I do wish there was a little more shade in that area.

We love camping here which is 10 mins to my daughter and grands! Clean, beautiful and the kiddos love it!

Absolutely beautiful park. We will return. Spacious sites, lots of nature and wildlife and 10 mins to the nearest town

We had a great time at Hickory Creek. We were in site 26 which was an excellent location. The park was very clean with nice restrooms and showers. All workers were very friendly. Our site had adequate parking for our RV and two cars. We will definitely be back again!

Hickory Creek COE is one of the best local parks. Staff is very accommodating and visitors are friendly.

It was beautiful, however we couldnt stay because our landing gear wouldnt cooperate. We slept in a local hotel overnight and took our rig for repair the next day. We had been before and knew it was going to be awesome. Loved the site #26 beautiful view of the lake. And a pull through! The wonderful people at the front refunded our second night since we couldnt stay. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

Had a great campsite with a wonderful lakeside view. Park was clean and well kept. Did not use the facilities.

Everything was great, only problem was we had to move on Sunday and whoever was in lot 41 didn’t move so we couldn’t get it. I was able to book another spot for Sunday to Wednesday, they wouldn’t let me use my Senior Discount since it use on where I was suppose to be. The web site could be easier to use, the park was great and camp host where all very helpful

We were disappointed that at 10pm the gates CLOSE and will not re open. I am amazed that we were not given a combination to get in after 10pm, just like ever state park in Texas! I think either the park host don't want to or can not change the combination weekly like the state parks. Camping guest are forced to park their person vehicles on the inside of the gate and call an Uber if they are going to be back after 10pm.... WOW
The second item that needs to be addressed is the Dump Station. Two lanes going opposite ways but only ONE connection for your dump hose! So we saw someone behind us get really upset when the person did not wait their turn in the long line and chose to hurry up and cut in line on the other side before the next in line pulled up..... no cool and so simple to fix! Why have 2 lanes and one connection into the dump!
Last item - You are right under the flight path for DFW! If you don't mind the planes coming in right over you, it is ok....
