Beautiful park. Love camping and hiking there. Sure would be nice to have toilet seats and soap dispensers.

Great place to camp. Lots of wildlife, well kept facilities, and a convenient camp exclusive boat launch.

The barbecue grill needs to be fixed. Is old and rusting. The bottom has holes in it and i had to use a grill mat to keep charcoal from falling through the bottom

Nice site with water view. Restroom facilities were clean and overall site maintenance was good. Site picnic tables are covered and spacing is adequate for privacy. Would certainly recommend to others.

Good experience started at the front gate. The gate keepers were very friendly and helpful. The camp site was clean and ready to use. The only issue we noted was the rusted out charcoal grill. However, we were not planning to use it anyway so it made no difference for us. Very nice camp. Neighbors not too close. Easy access to the lake. Very much enjoyed our time.

The campground was quiet and my site was private. I enjoyed the birds. The only downside was that the restrooms were far and would have been much further to walk if the creek was not dry. They were on the other side of the creek bed. It was scary walking the wooded path when it was dark and it got dark shortly after 6.

The park is beautiful and there are lots of activities to keep you busy. However, I do not like the gate closing at 10 pm with no real option to get back in until the gate opens in the morning. We were late getting back by 5 mins after 10 pm and the gate was closed. No phone number to call, no after hours support of any kind. I just happened to catch a park host out who lives near the gate and asked for help. I was scolded and told he is not suppose to let people in after 10 pm. He finally did after the lecture. Basically, this is Army Corp of Engineers land, that's the rules and he follows them. So if someone in your camp party is sick, and you need to run to the store at 1 am, you're out of luck getting back in. I do not like feeling like a prisoner while out camping.
