nice quite park, however the trees need trimming in some spots, I backed in #7 and put a 5 in hole in my upper left side of the trailer because the branches were to low ,I still had 4 feet to back up

Everything was good but the bathrooms in loop 1 need hotter water. Kinda lukewarm water.

we stay here when we are in this area , park is clean and neat ,while we where there they were mowing . the park host are alwayes nice.we thank them

Start with the good: Jean at the gate was awesome. Had a serious site problem and she helped us figure out a different site and she was so helpful and friendly. Our second site, #7 in Loop 1 was very nice. The not so good: Our first site, #18 was unusable due to length, slant and overhanging branches. Verizon and AT&T were both only OK at best and no OTA TV at all.

We just stopped by on our way back home from my brother-in-laws farm at Goldthwaite. We love staying at Proctor.

We had a wonderful experience at Sowell Creek Park (Loop 1 Site 7). The pads are level, covered picnic table, large shade tree and the grounds were clean. The gate attendant was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

I spent a week by my self in site #7 at Sowel Creek Park, I just wanted to get away and relax and this park is a good place for that. This is my favorite park on Lake Proctor and have been going there for many years.
