It is always very peaceful and relaxing at Sowell Creek. I have camped there many times and it is always a great experience, I highly recommend Sowell Creek for anyone that is looking for a low key place to get away from the rat race of the city.

Caught some pretty nice sized fish from the bank. Most were carp but fighters and fun to catch. We also done some bike riding. Great place to camp.

Beautiful place to stay. I loved it here and will be back here or across the dam at Copperas Creek

Very nice campground. View of the lake from our camper. Cell service was fair, but no internet or data. There were few other campers when we were there early December. Campground very well kept up.

We love Proctor Lake but this was our 1st time camping there. Trip would have been better if the fish would have cooperated but the camping was great. 1st time we have been out since all of the virus stuff started. We will definitely be back.
