Need to trim the trees on the way out. Hanging too low and over the road. Scratching the side and roof of the RV

Friendly people at the front gate. Campsite level with beautiful view of the lake. Restrooms were clean.

Very nice and clean campground but the lake is very low. Boat ramp was closed and the lake was about 8' lower than 2 years ago

The camping spot was great and close to the lake. Very spacious and easy to navigate. We had a mobile hot spot so we were able to connect to internet when needed. Did some bank fishing and caught some nice size sand bass too!

I can't understand why this campground isn't full. It's beautiful, serene, on a lake, great staff level spots, clean bathrooms. Wonderful weather compared to the rest of the country for January. I'm sure we'll come back again sometime.

Had great time, at 1 point we were the only one's in the park. Hated there was a burn ban and couldn't have a camp fire.

Gate attendant, Mrs Malone, was very friendly and informative. Sites are spaced well. Covered picnic table was useful. A burn ban was in effect so no campfires allowed. The lake views and sunsets are beautiful. Full hookups are great in sites 1-7.

Sowell Creek is a Great Lake with some of the most beautiful sunsets. If you like campfires, there’s always a burn ban, even for using the Solo Fire Pit.

It was a very quite stay with everyone adhering to the quite time. The sites was well maintained even the fire pits was cleaned out. The staff was very helpful on arriving making sure you knew where your spot was.

Sowell Creek is a clean and well maintained COE Park. There are an abundance of deer. Lots of paved roads for riding bikes. Nearby towns of Commanche and Dublin, Texas, offer wonderful museums and specialized shopping.
