Nice, spacious sites, very pretty, quiet site. The staff was very helpful when we called ahead to say that we would be arriving after the office closed, and again when we reported a couple of things that needed repairs.

Best site in the park!! Great view of the lake and gorgeous sunset.

Loved the spots and the location. Showers were the only problem. They were terrible. Very dirty, no water pressure and water never got hot. Wish they would update these showers and it would be amazing. Will come back, but wont use the showers.

Sowell is beautiful and peaceful. The variety of bird life was amazing! We enjoyed watching storks, coots, ducks and birds of prey. I want to visit again!

Great place to relax and bird watching. The park was mowed, sites clean, tables power washed. They have boat ramps, fishing , its just a great place . Park host were very nice.

Park was well maintained, clean and camping areas were in good shape. Nice quite place to enjoy

Quality of park has gone downhill tremendously in the past couple of years. Apparently they no longer mow around the campground and it was grown up. We have to take small push mower or weed eater to clean up around our spot. We were there during the week & camp was mostly empty so really no reason not to mow. Also electrical boxes falling apart. I can’t tell there is ever any maintenance done anymore. Last few times we were there, breakers were thrown & lots of campers experiencing electrical issues.

The park is nice. Would have given a higher rate, but when I came in Nov. none of the restrooms were open open but one on the other end of park. The signs said working on them. Came back end of Jan. And still not working and the one that was open had no heat to take showers!

The site was well kept and clean. The view of the lake was great. I will stop back again if in the area.

Park was well maintained and clean. Very quiet and patrolled. We(4 families) had a great and enjoyable time and are planning on a return trip. Park people were very friendly.
