Address on web site takes you to admin office. A sign should tell you where to go or get the address right. Sites were closer than normal for COE.

The host at check-in was very friendly and the park in general was well maintained. As usual with many of the Corp parks, the bathrooms need to be updated. We really enjoyed going to visit the area by the dam and hiking around the lake.

Let me state up front, we do not travel with a boat.If we did, perhaps we'd have enjoyed Copperas Creek more. The boating facilities are extraordinary. From what we observed, fishing is also excellent.Site 58 is a great one. Excellent view, decent privacy, level and close to the bathroom/shower building.Upon arriving, there was no one at the gate, no sign. A conundrum. We proceeded to our site then called the park's phone number. No answer, no message service. On our third day we saw someone at the gate and approached. They were friendly, but largely silent on the issue of no coverage on our arrival day. Fine with us.Overall, this is a fairly typical COE park. Water and electrical hookups, dump station on-site. And, like others, this one has very spread out loops. Verizon coverage was nuthin' but AT&T was very good.

The park was nice and clean, park staff was very friendly. The campsites are nice sized and lots of places to fish from the bank or the fishing pier. There are no walking/hiking trails at this park, they say there is on the website. Was nice place to walk thru the campgrounds.

People were all very nice, but only had one shower open that worked in the whole park , and it was standing in water for the first 3 days. 2 more were open but had no hot water. Seems that no one knew why the breakers to the water heaters were off. Very nice park, and nice attendants.

Site 58 is on a hill that sits on a small hill. Close to the water and another spot super close. Would be great for two families wanting to stay close together. Bathrooms just across the street.
