We selected this campground to be close to friends in nearby Fischer. Another great COE park: spacious sites, sufficient utilities, nice roads to walk/bike, lots of deer and birds. Would stay here again when in the area.

Lovely location! Campsites are nice and level. Nice walking areas. Town is nice too. The lake was very low when we visited.

The park was really nice, good sized RV spaces. It was maintained fairly well, some long grass around the site but it may have just been close to mow day. Only complaint was that it only has a single hole dump station.

Potters Creek is an excellent established site. With water, electricity, fire ring and picnic table at each site. Sites are large and extremely clean. Hot showers throughout. When making the reservation on Recreation.gov, make sure you put in your Annual America the Beautiful Park Pass (if you have one) and you’ll save 50%. I would most def stay here again. Everyone was nice and the whole park was very quiet. If you can, stay in one of the lower numbered sites (1-60). They were a tad bit bigger and a seemed to be a little newer.

The electricity did go out for about 2 hrs.

Despite negative comments about the Camp Host and gate personnel, we wanted to try this spot. Loved it so very much, we went back the following weekend! We met at least 4 different people manning the gate, by the way, and all were helpful and polite (perhaps the person named in the previous reviews is no longer there?). Would have given 5 stars but the bathrooms needed some attention and looked as if they had not been checked for a while (one bathroom stall had 5 empty rolls of toilet paper-meaning, they had not been looked at or replaced for a long time). Women's showers also needed some attention. Note that in the sites closer to the water (102) had a lot of stickers in the grass which made it a bit troublesome for our dogs. The sites further up with more tree coverage did not seem to have this issue (sites like 71). Though the Group Camp site was closed, we were allowed to access the water there and had the place to ourselves. We prefer this camp site to Cranes Mill at the same lake.
