We always enjoy our stays at Potters Creek. Easy to park our 35 5th wheel. Water, electric on site. Dump stations on the property. Roomy sites.

We enjoyed this park for the most part. The site was nice. We stayed in site 87. We didn't like the fact that multiple people kept walking through our campsite all day. I was always taught there is an unwritten rule of camping that you don't walk through other people's campsites! We didn't like the fact that a Sheriff's Deputy would ride through after sunset and start harassing people over the loudspeaker to enforce park policies. Somebody should tell that cop that law enforcement officers have no authority to even approach or speak to someone when the person isn't breaking any federal, state, or local laws. He should be careful or his department might get sued for violating someone's rights. Anyway, aside from some of the park's disrespectful guests and the gung ho, Barney Fife cop, the place is nice.
Normally I love this park for the nature and peace. This weekend at least 40 people were in the site across from us and they had portable lighting which they faced all 4 at our site and partied until 4 am every night (loud). I never saw any patrols or they would have said something I'm sure. Our neighbors next to us came over and asked what could they do? Guess I'll find another park that has rules enforced. :)

First family camping trip with my kiddos (2yrs&1yr) great experience, super clean facilities and park. Staff was very friendly made us feel very welcome. Will definitely return very soon. Great family experience!!
Great Park, we had a lot close to the water and with no one behind us. I have only one complaint, the lots are ringed with about 2’ tall bollards right next to the road. These make backing into the spaces difficult if you have a big truck and long trailer. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful park and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the restrooms were shut down on our loop due to maintenance issues. I would not have thought much of it, but in speaking with others who have camped in these campgrounds before it appears that there may be some issues with the Corps in reopening those parks that are closed and creating real difficulty in getting reservations due to demand. I hope the local Ranger can push through the bureaucracy and get the park fully opened!

As always, we had a wonderful time at Potters Creek. The park was clean, and the bathhouse was clean. The gate attendants were friendly, as well. No complaints.

Wish the RV outlets weren't installed upside down and the strict 3:00 p.m. check-in is rather late in the day. Sure are a lot of campsites not available. So many improvements were made yet you can't reserve them. Big time waste of money. Closing some loops due to sewage system problems is literally a crock because everyone can go to one dump station. Open all camping loops and spread the campers out. Especially during this time of suggested social distance.

Individuals working at the entry gates are way to strict with policies very inflexible and not totally informed regarding regulations. An example is last summer we called the office of the Core of Engineers to go over the rules. We were told that we could have two vehicles per site in addition to the RV and could put the boat and trailer on the grass or leave them at the boat ramp. The gate attendees told us that the boat would be counted as the second vehicle and the truck pulling the boat or the boat would have to stay outside of the park over night. We were celebrating a birthday and the situation made for a very unpleasant stay at the park.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
