We love this park. Spacious spots with many having tree cover. Picnic tables are all covered. And plenty of deer wandering thru. We did have a fox come by for a visit first night.

What a great find. A lot of the campsites are in direct sun, but there are a few in wooded area.

I've been coming to Potters Creek for over 50 years from primitive camping with port-a-John's 😝 to padded campsites, each site has its own fire ring, bbq pit, and covered tables! All have crushed stone around them. Great bathroom facilities with showers, most all sites are covered with trees for shade, love it here, only thing missing is sewer systems for campsites.

Very beautiful environment. Very clean bathrooms and showers had hot water. Unfortunately the lake water was down due to low rain and drought that has been a major problem for central Texas

During our visit, the hosts were Angela and Tommy. I've never met such genuine people while visiting parks, hotels, or cabins. They were wonderful! They were kind and listened to my concerns with sincererity. We had the best experience and we will definitely come back!

Was the most awesome views of the lake! Sites are so spacious and far apart, what a wonderful setting! Make sure to see where the wall of the lake is and also the gorge! It is right off 306 and awesome! Staff was volunteers and so helpful and friendly! What a joy.

First time at Potter's Creek campground, it was clean and quiet. All campsites had a view of the water, it was a peaceful, relaxing experience

The men's/women's bathhouse had ZERO toilet paper and was not clean or appealing. Then on the second day we were there, the doors were bolted shut and it was closed. (Supposedly) the hot water didn't work.The garbage/trash containers were so overflowing that garbage was stacked up on the ground beside the large green bins.One night when we returned back to camp, a car was ahead of us. Don't know WHAT their issue was? Were they checking in ?? They were not pulling anything. We waited over 10 minutes which was ridiculous. We should have been waved on if that car needed so much attention! Very annoying. The campsite is beautiful and so is the water.

Lovely park. Lots of personal space during Covid times. Would prefer if campground attendants had map of facilities that at least first time visitors could access.

It was a very nice campsite. Really liked the covered picnic table and the covered grill. The view of the lake on a sunny day was just beautiful. The restroom/shower area was not up to par in our current Covid environment but would be satisfactory in non-Covid times. Overall it was a great place to camp and we will be going back next year.

Very nice park. Spaces were flat and level with plenty of shade.
