Site 71 was nice and level once you've backed up a bit of a slope. We were here for 14 days through "icemaggedon"! Water had to be left on in the site and at the bath houses. Initially they were going to close them but never did.The toilets and showers were very clean. Good hot water and plenty of room to move around. These are some of the cleanest we've encountered lately.Lots of animals around. A lot of deer. One night there were 10 or so bucks hanging around. We saw foxes, skunk, and feral cats as well.

Enjoyed staying at park camping , the shelters over the picnic tables at each site made it convenient to eat outsideThe restrooms were clean when we came in on a Monday then got messy due to holiday overall , nice stay

Potters creek is a beautiful park on Canyon Lake. It's not packed out like state parks and has good facilities. The staff at the entrance were friendly and helpful. The ground is rocky - if you are camping, bring strong pegs and hammer/mini sledge. It can feel exposed in windy weather in some places but many sites are under tree cover.Sites are spacious and well appointed with water and electricity.Make sure you understand the main gate open and closing times so as not to be caught out.

Really enjoyed our stay at potters creek. Only down side was the lake being down 24 ft. Had friends with a boat at marina that allowed us to get out in the lake. People at front gate were really nice and very helpful.

The only reason for 4 stars is the level of the lake was super low. Otherwise the site was great. Attendant was very nice.

This was a lovely park. Beautiful sites and maybe the best bathrooms of my camping life. Conveniently located to town.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. RV site 71 was perfect, lots of shade trees, nice picnic table with awning, paved level site with plenty of room for the RV and 2 vehicles. Their was lots of deer and even a few foxes around our site. . Great experience

Beautiful sites and great campground staff! Be aware that we stayed there in April and our site was covered in caterpillars so we could not use the covered picnic table shelter. We still really enjoyed our stay and just worked around the caterpillar invasion.

Some sites are Very Steep & photos don't show this. This is a beautiful park with a ton of trees. Some uneven surfaces at the site made it difficult for my elderly mom. Sites by the water are very level. Much bigger than Crane's Mill but just as peaceful.

Very nice clean park. You can camp near the lake or in a shady site a little ways away (still in sight of the water). Very nice facilities.

Our stay is always pleasant, peaceful and thoroughly enjoyed. However, we don't like the fact the park has a curfew and if not back in time, you cannot drive to your site and must walk.
