Always enjoy my days spent at PC. I have one thing that I have seen that needs changing. Believe me many feel the same way. We stay in space 82 many times and see the same thing happen almost every time. The posts in the ground on the turn need to be removed. I have seen 3 different crashes hitting the posts. I do not see the purpose for these. Please do something about this. One of my buddies hit one a few days ago and had to replace his whole bumper.

Campsite was large and fairly private. Staff was friendly but bathrooms could have been cleaner. We enjoyed our trip to Luckenbach and Greune. The old dance hall in Greune was very cool.

Very nice park for family camping- clean, quiet, nice sites. You are right on the lake and if boating, quick access to the ramps. I did go to the dam and found some great views for photos, walking across the dam. I had read reviews about the hosts being difficult, however, I found that by simply following the park rules and respecting their requirements, the personnel weregreat and very friendly.

We stayed at #82 for 2 nights then decided to extend but couldn't so moved to #84 for an additional 5 nights; both were huge roomy sights with good views of the lake and some shade trees (#82 had more and was higher elevation for view but still level for our 34' Class A).Volunteers were super friendly and available even on Christmas Day! Grounds and washrooms were very clean. We saw lots of deer (mainly evenings going down to water), fox, and pelicans. Lots of groups walking in the mornings & outdoor activity throughout the day without being intrusively loud. First time at Potters Creek but won't be last.

The park itself was very nice. However the Park Host and gate attendants were very unprofessional and rude to us during our stay. We brought our ATV to the campsite. On the literature they give you, at check in, it does not say anything about not being able to ride an ATV on site. We had to dump our gray water tank and we used the ATV for two trips to the dump station and once to the take trash to the dumpsters. On the trip to the dumpster the park host came up behind me honking his horn and flashing his lights. Then proceeded, along with his wife, to point there finger at me and lecture me about how my ATV was not allowed in the park. Basically I was treated like a child. I took the ATV back tot he campsite. Following, the gate attendant dropped by to reiterate the same message in a rude tone. I asked where it said that no ATV's were allowed. She said it was in her regulations in her office. She then told me to get the ATV off of the grass and onto the pavement. They treated other campsites with the same disrespect. I would not recommend Potters Creek to anyone until the Park Host and the gate attendant are replaced. I have no problems with rules but I do expect to be treated with respect and not treated like a child

we love camping at canyon lake but this trip was a bit disappointing. my husband has the senior pass and when we made the reservation i used my credit card and the park attendant tried to tell us that it had to be paid for through his name. we got that resolved. but the hassle of it is discouraging.the other complaint is why does the check in time have to be so late?? 3:00??!! in the summer time we will be setting up in the hottest part of the day!! and by the time we ARE set up the day is almost done! can't it be earlier? like check out at 12:00 and check in at 1:00?

This is a very pretty place. Generous spaces with space between you and your neighbor. Spectacular natural setting.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
