This is a very nice park in an area that is close to many tourist sites/locations in the San Antonio area and around the park as well.We were there for five days and enjoyed our site (75).The only "minor issue" was with the men's restroom. One of the toilets appeared to be clogged but after checking with (reporting to) the front gate staff, it was a simple fix of holding down the flush button for an extended amount of time. NOTE...my wife made me aware that the women's restroom had a sign over it explaining the the button had to be pushed in for an extended amount of time to function correctly. The showers worked well and the enclosure with a bench and towel hangers were nice and convenient. We will definitely stay there again in the future and will recommend to others. Hopefully the lake will regain all/most of it's original capacity levels and will serve the people of that area and campers for a very long time.

This was our first visit to Potters Creek and we were pleasantly surprised. Even though the lake level is quite low, as with most lakes in central Texas, the park is just charming. Our site (#75) was well shaded, with a cute covered picnic table, fire ring and separate grill. Plenty of room for our 32' trailer, with a side area to park the truck if we wanted. The pad was easy to access and no problems getting level. The restroom facility was clean and roomy. The handicap shower appeared to be huge. My only complaint would be that the lighting could have been better, but that was not a deal breaker. It is E-bike friendly and evening walks were so enjoyable. Everyone we met was so nice. The park staff at the gate were so kind and inviting. There are several places to visit and things to do not far from the park, so I recommend day outings if you can.We will definitely be back.

Love this campground. Water in CanyonLake was very low due to the drought, but the park is nice and quiet with beautiful views. Favorite is the L loop. We camped in 85 which is one of our favs. Hike nearby to the Gorge is recommended s as well as the Guadalupe River Trail. Explore the CanyonLake Dam and if you are into Pickleball, check the local community center. Recommend burgers at Canyon CityGrill. The gate attendant during our stay was marvelous!!! Friendly, helpful and loved her volunteer position!!

The host are so friendly, and Loop 1,2, and 4 the views are beautiful! We favor Loop 1 and spent a week there. The restrooms are clean and sites are spacious so you have plenty of room. The covered picnic tables are awesome and big tables! We had a great time. This was our second visit and we definitely will be back! This is our favorite Texas park so far.

Beautiful park, well managed. They need to get the other areas of Potter's Creek open for more people to enjoy!

This is a beautiful large park with lots of trees and shade. The sites are spacious and have great views of the lake. The facilities are very clean. There is always a nice breeze coming in from the lake. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning.
