Extremely well kept campsite and facilities. Enjoyed our stay there very much. Park keepers were very responsive to a minor issue we had (wasp's nest).

Very nice park. We enjoyed our stay. However..treatment for fire ants was needed. Fortunately we had some of our own to apply. Weeds, especially Thistle was intrusive and needed attention.

Wonderful camp and staff were so helpful, professional, and ran the camp in such a positive manner.
The lake was low, but we still enjoyed it, along with watching deer, birds especially hummingbirds that came to visit our camper.

Closing the gate at 9:00pm is to early prevents visitors from visiting many sites in the area. Not allowing entry until 3:00pm is really a bad policy. No logical reason to keep people waiting at the gate if their site is empty. Exit from the park is controlled at the gate so gate keepers should know what sites are empty and allow new users access to the park.On the positive side the grass was finally mowed in the infield allowing larger spaces for kids to play. Looked good for a change.

Be aware that the gate closes at 9pm and there is no provision to re-enter until the following morning. Make sure your plans don't include any late evening activities or you will spend the night in your car or have to rent a room in town.

It's a very nice Park, clean, will spaced, nice baths. Our issue, we come to the area to see concerts at Greune Hall. The headliners usually start at 9 PM. The gates are locked at Potters Creek at 10 PM and there is no key code or combination lock. If you get back after 10 you Park and walk. This is completely unacceptable, it's silly. We have NEVER had this experience and ANY other camp, EVER. I have it 3 stars because the camp is so nice, it's actually a 5 star camp but the gate rules and the nasty gate keepers (you will read about them in other reviews, the reviews are true) are the reason we will never return.

Where to start, This is a beautiful park and all the sites in loop 4 the only loop open are very nice and well spaced for privacy. Where this park fall short is in it's staff and policies. first I'd like to talk about is the front check in staff and their lack of professionalism and customer service. The other major dissatisfaction is that the restrooms/showers are cleaned only 2 times a week, Sat and Monday! In these days of Covid this is terrible and puts every camper at more risk than is necessary not to mention just overall cleanliness! Poor poor policy! Also the lack of staff checking out what is going on down in the campground, the only time they are seen is when the are checking for window tags. The only bright spot in this staff is a woman named Peggy. She was very helpful and professional in our dealing with her!
