We really enjoyed our stay at Potter Creek Park! The area was very peaceful and relaxing - perfect for a quite getaway. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the surroundings were beautiful. We would definitely come back again!

The campground was clean and gate folks were friendly. Sites are paved. I needed a mobile tech but they dont really allow companies to come in until you get permission from the park ranger. Never seen this at a COE before. Too bad the lake is so low, not much access.

We visited this park in March with our 6 kids under the age of 9. We loved this park and will be back! We stayed here so we could visit the San Antonio Missions and did a Catholic pilgrimage walking the 10 miles to all 4 missions with our local Catholic church and 350 others. The lake levels were so low but it gave us and the kids a fantastic chance to explore and find some souvenir treasures. The lake levels being low meant the park was closed to day use which in turn meant the park was so quiet and quite peaceful without extra cars zooming through on a regular basis. The added bonus was each of the kids got a goodie bag! We will definitely be back.

Really nice park. Pretty clean grounds despite not seeing many staff workers. Restrooms are clean with plenty of hot water. Sites are very spacious.

Nice campground. It is amazing how quiet it can be at this campground. My only complaint would be about the few who think they are exempt from have to clean up after their dog(s).

This is a really nice campground and we will definitely plan a return. Site was lovely, under the trees, nice shade and well spaced from other sites. Nice that there is a separate parking pad for toads, boat trailer, etc. that helps keep the roads clear. Our only complaint was that the bath house closest to us was closed due to repairs, but we were not informed at check-in. We found out when we prepared to take a shower and walked down there, only to find it boarded up, with no information about where we could go to take a shower or use toilet facilities. Have no problem with maintenance needing to be done, but that information should be provided to campers at check in. We had to drive to another distant, loop to find a bath house that was open.

Potters Creek will be in my memory forever as it was the Inaugural “First Night” for my new Taxa Mantis habitat. I was greeted by a very pleasant employee who checked me in and provided clear directions and park rules. My campsite was clean and a level pad made setting up that much easier. I was only a guest for one night… but a very special night for me. Thank you, its such a beautiful area.

Been going there for 25 years, always a wonderful lake. Wish they would fix sewer system on loop 1 & 2, it has been closed for 2 years now.

gate attendant was rude and inflexible (check in time is 3:00 pm, we arrived at 2:49 pm and were denied entry because we were 11 minutes early--that is ridiculous--I could understand if it was an hour or more but 11 minutes)

We first stayed here on our four month trip around the South. We have since been back twice. It is definitely one of our favorite parks. It is well maintained on a beautiful lake. Isolated but close enough to a small town to get provisions. We loved our stay there.
