It was our first time to visit this beautiful park, and we plan to return. Although some of the campgrounds are rather bare, the shelter area is actually quite attractive and the shelters are well designed and built, if rather small, but the indoor sink is a plus. The bathhouse is excellent. Though we weren't allowed to use the fire ring, the covered standing grill was in fine condition and worked well. We liked the fact that there are several very bikeable, low-traffic roads near the park, and we made good use of those. We observed that there are usable trails within the park, although we didn't really use them; it would be terrific if someone would create a map of them and post that near the entrance. The only negative to the whole visit was a leak in the roof of the shelter, which inspired us to leave earlier than planned. Otherwise, I would have given five stars.

Potters Creek is so beautiful. The people there are friendly. The water is low but it's still perfect
