We've been to this park many times and always enjoy the large, paved sites and views.

Very good camp site, you feel safe by how close people are. You also get to shower which is great. The only down side is, the bathrooms are kinda far, even with a disability, some of the disability spots are kinda far from the bathroom. So make sure if you have a disability, get a spot close to the bathroom or you'll have to go a bit of a distance which can be a lot for someone with a disability.

Awesome campground long pads and some water still in the lake.

Great family fun. Grass needed to be cut. Unfortunately, due to drought, the water was extremely low this year.

Water was beautiful and the bathrooms are really nice. There are no hiking or biking trails despite what I saw on the website.

Wonderful campground. Sites were big and lots of space between sites. Only thing I didn't like was being so strict not be there before 3pm to check in and gate closing at 9am. I suggest getting a coded gate so you don't have to leave vehicle outside gate and walk to your site. Site can be a long way away.

Excellent park!
Sites have patio and covered picnic table.
Excellent proximity and view of the water. Quiet yet close to grocery, gasoline and restaurants.
Keep in mind, you can exit anytime but cannot re-enter the campground after 9pm.

Very pretty area, campsites well taken care of. Outside loop furthest away from lake are more private with great view. Closest to lake are wide open, no trees, pretty exposed. Busy with boats, kayaking and families. Quiet hours not always respected, but not loud.

Sites were close together in our loop, uneven and provided little privacy. Aside from that, we lived the park and enjoyed the hiking.

We had a great time. It is such a well maintained and beautiful campground. The front gate staff was very friendly.

Very large campsite, clean restroom and showers. We really enjoyed the fact that the park was gated, we walk everyday and it was very relaxing with no traffic. The park has about five miles of roads.
The sunrise and sunsets were incredible!
We also enjoyed Guadalupe River State Park about a half hour drive away.
The history about the flood in 2002 was also very interesting, go to the canyon lake dam for details.
