It was clean and quiet. The spots were level. We used it as a base camp and visited caverns and San Antonio.

Nice people at the gate and not to far to san antonio Big spots easy to get into. Only 42 dollars for three nights with our america the beautiful pass.

You would think that the park manager would take the initiave and remove some of the weeds and cactus and make access to the lake so that the campers could enjoy what water is still in the lake. Why you couldn’t at least open the boat ramp for kayaks. We packed up and went to Georgetown lake, much nicer park and more organized. Replace the camp manager.

Great place. Nice view of lakes. Enjoyed walking the campground and seeing all of the deer. Site 28 was large and level. Bathrooms were clean and hot.

It was a nice quiet campground. Restroom facility was mostly nice. It was always clean however the hand dryer didn't work and there was no paper towels provided.

Another fine COE campground on south shore of Canyon Lake with easy access. Small, <30 RV sites (tent loop is closed). Relatively new, mostly level concrete pads with hooded picnic area. Nice heated bath houses. Canyon Lake area is pretty, small towns, shops, restaurants within 5-10 miles. Major shopping (Spring Branch, San Marcos) is 20+ miles away. Would recommend and stay again if in the area. Good Verizon and ATT coverage (3 bars).

Great place to stay. Close to San Antonio. While we were there dump station and restrooms were closed due to maintance issues. Were told we could to Dump at Potters Creek Park for free, But that was a 22 mile trip. Decide not to and go dump elsewhere.

Very clean and open park. We brought small campers. The spots could easily fit the 14' tall 40' long fifth wheels. Each site has a picnic table that has a very sturdy canopy. Great showers and restroom. Convenient boat launch and fishing pier. The best part is the staff is super friendly.

Beautiful area with views of canyon lake and not far from the Guadalupe River. Very nice staff.

So much to do...Camping, biking, wide open area for fun in the sun. You have your own boat ramp for when you Cramp. You can fish off the peir also.
At night, camp fire, star gazing...not crowded. GREAT LOADS OF FUN.

Lots of fun the the sun...nice walks, motorcycle rides. Ice and bait just up the road. Lots of space between RV'sNice fishing and boat ramp.

We had a great time for 2 nights in this campground with our child. The placement was awesome and we enjoyed a beautiful view from our RV and the staff was really nice. We will come back for sure :-)

Walks, campfires, sunset and rise...but the best time was boating and fishing. The peninsula is a beautiful place to go on 30 Arvie's at a time very spacious very isolated by yourself safe for covin you don't get in contact with anybody.

Great place to fish and relaxing... The grass cut and easy to walk the dogs. Fish off the near pier was excellent. Lots for kind folks around the pier. Linda and Melissa, front gate folks were kind and helpful.
