Beautiful, quiet, clean and great views. We were there for 4 days and plan to return. Easy back in with nice long sites. Several if not all have double parking and many are very room. Great park. Highly recommended.

Fantastic campground. Very clean, concrete pads, wildlife, friendly volunteers. No sewer or shade, 50 amp electric. AT&T and Verizon worked good enough to stream movies. Great location to visit lots of hill country events and restaurants. Hoping the lake comes up some before summer.

Loved this Park. Sites were spacious and all had some angle for views of the lake. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again.

The perfect park for our purpose of having nothing on our agenda by sitting back and relaxing.

This was our first Army Corp park and the site size and spacing were amazing.

A nice small 30 site park. Our site, #29 was level and had a grill, fire ring and table. Staff was friendly. Didn’t use the shower/restroom building so can’t comment.
The only con was the grass needed a cutting, it was really long but nothing to complain about.

We were near the water, the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking everyday. The place was clean, well maintained a little buggy and a few scorpions came to visit, but other than that we loved it here. From the the gate attendant to the hosts everyone was kind, helpful and polite. The only negs were, we could only stay for 14 days and no (official) access to the lake for a cooling swim!! If we find ourselves in this area again this is the place we'd stay. We do recommend when you're in town to eat at the 'Italian Garden Restaurant'. We're native NY'ers and loved this place (a surprise find in this part of the country). divertiti e mangia ! :)

Most of the sites have a beautiful lake view which is a big plus. The biggest negative is that the grass is very long and the bugs are terrible. The sites are not very private. We probably won’t be back.

The park was very nice however I thought there was going to be a swimming area and there was not. I know after reading the literature more closely that it is basically and a boating and fishing lake but I don't understand why you would not make a few swimming areas in this park.

The pictures led you to believe you could at least walk down to the lake but that was impossible because of all the cactus and weeds. This is not a park I would recommend to my friends and I will not be going back.

Horrible check in procedure, waiting till 3pm exactly, creating a long line at gate. Most rv's leave by noon at the latest, couldn't check in start then? Or give window of time so not so many are trying to enter at once?
Huge number, maybe 100 or so, of tent camping sites with water and electric at each site, and none being used. The rv circle of about 30 sites full majority of the time. Would be very low cost to convert some tent sites and double the rv sites which are so in demand.
Park was clean and neat, restrooms also.

The sites were large and the pad was very level! We enjoyed walking through the campground looking at all the deer. Beautiful spot!
