We have stayed at Cranes Mill campground many times over the years and it is always enjoyable. It took a little bit of time after we arrived to adjust the site. We needed to move from the one we first picked to a different spot. We were not able to get our motor home level so we found out which sites were still available and were able to relocate to the other site. We did not have much time to enjoy the park as we were using the facilities to visit our terminally ill nephew in Kerrville. Our stay was also interrupted by an accident between our car and a pickup just outside the park which totaled it. We were able to extend our stay long enough to get our car to a place where it could be adjusted for the insurance company. We finally got a rental car and were able to make it home near Ft.Worth. I hope to return to visit the campground when we are able to really enjoy the facilities again as we have in the past.

Friendly staff that help you get booked in and answer any questions you have. Well maintained sites, grass cut water and power working ect. Very affordable rates as well. Even has showers with actual hot water.

Nice quiet park. Level pad. Lake is low but we werent there for boating or fishing so it wasnt a problem. Spent most of our time in San Antonio.

Beautiful campground. The men's room could use a little more light.

We had a great visit to Crane's Mill in our RV staying at Site 12. The side is level, and the passenger side looks out to the lake. The sites are spread out, and we did not feel like we were close to the adjacent sites. Other than check-in which went very easily, we did not interact with the staff except to wave as they drove by. This is a great place to stay in your RV, so don't hesitate to book here.

Overall, the park was excellent. Very clean and we’ll managed. Also, very quiet. Lot’s of deer in and around the campground. We really enjoyed our stay.
Restrooms could be maintained and cleaned more frequently, but not the worst we have seen.
We will stay at COE campgrounds a lot more in the future.
Other than the tall grass in the complete park and around campsites plus not being able to check in until three PM even when the site is open it was a good experience. All the campers I talked too felt the same way. I know it was raining on and off when I was there but it was nice and sunny the week before. Guess I should have brought my own weed eater.
The entire park is awesome. The facilities, dumping station, pads and roads are all in excellent shape. The lake is amazing and the deer roaming the park are adorable.
Beautiful view of the lake and the deer in the park along the trails
