Loved this campground. The camp hosts were so friendly but no nonsense on keeping the grounds safe, enjoyable and fantastically clean. Being able to rely on quiet hours is great, especially when traveling across country and depending on sleep. Great view of lake from every site. Well definitely be back!

It is a nice place, the maintenance guy was real helpful I told him about the shower head being busted in the men room and he replaced them right away. Kathy at the gate held the gate open longer then she was supposed to do my daughter could get in the people there are excellent

Nice park with wide spaces. No shade and no full hook ups. Bathhouses are ok, not great but fair. The gate house is unattended all day expect maybe Sunday. We checked in on Sunday afternoon and there was an attendant on that afternoon but never again for next 5 days. We checked several times each day and it was completely closed with no sign of how to contact anyone. This is very unusual for COE parks. The park was full so it seems there should be someone manning the gatehouse. We did see 2 park hosts set up for permanent living but they never attended the gate. No park hosts sign in their lot but it appeared they lived there due to appearance of lot.

Park was clean and very nice. Park host were all amazing, helpful and friendly Coming back for sure
This is by far my favorite boat ramp, however the Core Of Engineers have made a new rule which prevents usage, albeit paid, for non campers Saturdays and Sundays. I am not sure what the thought process is here but the boat ramp parking lot is now empty all weekend, this seems an unnecessary loss of revenue and an inconvenience to us locals who happily pay for a quality launch site. Please change this rule back, I am now renting a campsite with no intention of camping just to launch the boat.
Site #6 was not level for a 40 ft motorhome. Our front wheels were 3” off the ground and we were as far back as possible. Other sites which were open for the day we were there, were level for approx 50 ft. but the person we talked to when booking didn’t have knowledge of site level lengths obviously.
Cranes Mill Park was a wonderful experience! Quiet, and well maintained. It right by the water!!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
