The park was clean and quiet. Nice lake view, even though the lake is very low, it is still beautiful my campsite was nice and level and had no issues with electricity or water. The surrounding campers were all friendly and pleasant. The dump station was clean. Very enjoyable visit. The lovely lady at the check in gate was very sweet and welcoming. My kids came to visit one day and she was also very kind and friendly to them. Wish I knew her name.

We love this park, its not huge however the sites have some distance between them. Most sites are not level or they slope up then level off which if you have a Class A coach the level portion is not long enough without you have the front of the coach extremely high off of the ground.

October was a quiet month to go. The boat ramp was closed due to low water in the reservoir. The gnats were visitors, small enough to slip through the screens. While I like the windows open at night, I didn't want to deal with that many visitors. The day I arrived, they instituted a new rule: that you can't enter until 3pm. This was not conveyed up until you got to the entrance station, and you had to enter to turn around, and there was minimal places to park ahead of the entrance. I arrived at 2:30. With the boat ramp closed, there wasn't even the trailer parking there to hang out until the appropriate time. As a full-time RVer, traveling for 6 years, I have never run into this. For whatever reason this rule was implemented, communication and a plan would have been helpful.

We always have a great time when we are out at cranes mill. The sites are always clean. The only complaint we have about our last visit is the grass at site 13 was rather tall and needed to be mowed. Other than that we had a great time

Very nice! Concrete pads with extra space for our truck. Host was friendly and helpful! We stayed in site 13. Had a bit of an incline but great view. Enjoyed being able to get out and walk in January. We would recommend this park, but it is over an hour away from San Antonio, so not convenient for sightseeing.

Wonderful volunteers and staff. They are the reason we keep returning. Beautiful location. Secure and quiet. Gate closes at 9.

Nice quiet park. Very clean. Host were very nice and friendly. We were here in 2021 during the Texas freeze. Seems like cold weather accompanies us to Cranes Mill because we had three days of cold while we were here, but we enjoyed ourselves for the full two weeks. We will be back.

This is a great park to stay in. Nice and quiet the bathhouse was clean and the sites were maintained.

We visited in early November of 2021 and found that this park was easy to get a spot. This COE park was spacious with cement pads and a dump station. Power (up to 50 amps) and water only at the site. Be aware that the dump station was sloped which may cause a tank to not completely empty. Plenty of room between sites and to park extra or tow vehicles.

We love this park, it is right on the water and a quick walk to hop in and swim. The boat launch is easy to use and the pier is in a great spot. There is always a nice cool breeze and the bathrooms are kept clean. We also love that there is a gate attendant and tight security. The only negative I can think of is the ants, spraying would be great.

Like always we loved staying at Cranes Mill Park. The only negative thing I can say was that there is never any soap to wash your hands in the bathroom.
