Sizeable sites and great views. The bathhouse was well cleaned and had plenty of hot water. No septic hookup at the site, but a decent dump station available.

We have stayed at this campground several times but this is the first time we had several tents next to us and in the immediate vicinity. They were using the shaded tree areas that we would normally be using. Other than that we enjoyed the clean campsite grounds.

We felt that the curfew on coming into the park interfered with us spending time in San Antonio. There were no laundry facilities in the park. Walking paths were non-existent. The stalls in the bathhouses could have been updated to provide total privacy. The sites were all easily accessible and having a cover over the picnic table provided some shade. The grass was 9-12”long and it would have been nice to have it shorter so my little dogs didn’t pick up so many burrs in their hair. It was quiet and boating facility close by. A Dairy Queen was about 4 miles down the road.

Beautiful park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Site 18 sloped towards the road which made leveling our 42 coach a challenge. The sites across the road are flatter.

We visited the park last weekend (President's Day weekend), and were very pleased to see how well the park is being taken care of. The grass is being nicely mowed, the sites are clean and tidy, the bathrooms are spotless, and Tex's Trail is a joy to wander through!

The occupants should be able to come back into the park at anytime if they are staying there. They shouldnt have to park outside the gate after 21:00 and walk in . Why is there no key pad for occupants to use.

We had a Peaceful Easy Feelin up at Cranes Mill. Next time we will search out a more level site. (ours #18 had our front wheels off the ground) but we had a very nice time.

First time to visit this fairly local RV park and was very impressed! Hosts were great, very friendly and welcoming. Had site #18, nice shade though inside loop so view of lake was a little hampered by Class A RVs on the outside, Site was clean, well maintained and only needed one leveling block on on water side. Covered picnic table made of plastic coated metal grate - very nice! Short trek to waters edge. Spent a Fri & Sat night and it was quiet and peaceful. Very relaxing - we will be back! Con: Check in wasn't til 3, and although check out wasn't til 2 we're an up and at 'em couple so an earlier check in and check out would have been better for us.

This is a small park (30 RV sites) nicely spaced so that all have some lake view. Very quiet. The only con was the Restroom/shower facilities hadn’t been cleaned in several days, or more. I checked several times during our 3 day stay, no change.

Cranes Mill is a well kept, small park on Canyon Lake. Sites are large and most have view of the lake.

We were in site 18. Slight incline at the site causing us to have to raise the front of the trailer (27') to make sure it was level. Overall not a major problem, just a little uncomfortable with front raised higher than normal. The site was clean of litter but there was dog food spilled in the picnic table area that our dog quickly found and decided to scarf up (we ended up raking the area so it was out of reach). Restroom and showers very clean and the water was hot with good water pressure. It gets quite dark at night which makes for excellent star gazing! We already have plans to return!

Very clean and spacious COE park. We enjoyed the ability to walk the park and log almost 2 miles - one loop. There are numerous deer. Wimberly is about a 40 minute drive. We would most definitely stay again. This time we stayed in a fifth wheel.

RV spaces are well spaced for a feeling of privacy. Slot 18 was especially nice because of the large oaks on the west side. Enjoyed the fishing pier on the point. (Wish the crappie dock were open.) We plan to come back in November.

Very nice small park. The RV park has only about 30 sites. The sites are well spaced with electric and water hook ups. there is a dump station in the park. We could not find any hiking trails but there was a boat launch. The bathhouse is super clean with a hot water shower. Be aware of the STRICT 3pm check in time. Will definitely return.

Spaces were very spacious. I know they have specific sights listed as "handicap accessible", however, I didn't see one sight that wasn't.
