The park was very well kept. The boathouse came in handy during a sever thunderstorm and F-1 tornado that touched down across the lake.

The campsites are well maintained and the area is very clean. The volunteer staff was on his game and listen to me about the restroom issues. The other restroom that was not down for repairs due to a septic issue had no water pressure in the showers. The toilets and sinks hand water pressure.

Very nice, new camp sites. Covered picnic tables were almost new. Great place to stay as a base camp for other activities. Unfortunately, not much to do at the campground since the boat ramp is closed.

We stayed for 2 days/nights and found the park to be clean, quite and convenient. Excellent lake access at the onsite boat ramp makes this a great park for fishing and watersport activities. Shade at some spaces is limited and some spaces are more level than others, but overall spaces are quite roomy. Will definatly reserve here again.

Ramp 10 is too steep and slippery. Dock is too far away from ramp 10. Dock needs repair or replacement. Pass holder and have been turned a way twice on a Sunday. Had to pay 30 dollars in order to get through the gate with a reservation for a campsite that we didnt even use on Fourth of Julywhat a shame that that was the only for sure way to get onto the lake at Cranes Mill Park. What did I buy a yearly pass for? I was never told that It would only be valid on weekdays during the summer.

Loved this park! Although it was full, it was quiet and peaceful. There is a boat launch in the park which is really handy!

Great park! We camped there for 4 days. We had views of Canyon Lake & Guadalupe River from our campsite. Each campsite has a level pad, plenty of room between sites, a covered picnic table, & the sites are staggered so everyone gets a view of the water. And we saw lots of deer in the mornings at the wood line. Will definitely add to my list of favorite places to stay.

Love the view in our suite. First time there and a little disappointed that their really isn’t a swimming access available. Bathrooms didn’t get clean daily . We were there four days and by the last day the RR

Our experience was good, but the whole park needs to be cleaned that includes the bathroom. We were told that there were not contract for cleaning the bathrooms and the land. Other than that would rate excellent

Conditions were a little rough due to snow, ice, and frozen water lines, but the camp hosts went way above and beyond to make our weeklong stay as enjoyable as possible. Most pleasant and helpful hosts we've experienced.

Absolutely Loved this place. Big open spaces, nice shower house, deer roam around, beautiful lake, sunsets are beautiful. I want to live there. We will be staying there on our way back up north.

Beautiful park and lake. However, we pulled up to the gate at 10:05 when the gate, apparently, closes at 10:00. This was not mentioned anywhere in the reservation or any linked documents from the reservation. The camp hosts were indifferent. We had 5 children about to sleep in the heat and a elderly female camp hosts response was word for word, too bad! They refused to help us in any way...5 minutes after the gate closed. So we spent the night at the gate and were let in promptly at 8 am the next morning. Other than that, great stay!
