The camp grounds was well kept. Had wildlife walking around. Very quiet when we was there. Enjoyed the quietness.

As always, the park was beautiful. Grounds remain well kept, bathrooms clean. Absolutely love camping here.

We love this park. It is always so very well maintained. The staff is fantastic! Everyone is polite and always ready and willing to answer questions. We took advantage of the shower facilities this go around. They are not new but they are clean. The handicap shower has ample space for a wheelchair or walker. The bench is far enough away from the shower head that clothing wont get wet from shower spray. We have had the good fortune of staying in site 15 each time weve camped there. The site is level and backs up to a view of the lake. The lake level is still low but the scenery is beautiful. Lots of wildlife. We saw many deer, a couple of gray foxes, and theres the prettiest white mama cat and her babies wandering around. This park is peaceful and quiet. We absolutely love it here and are booked to return in the next few days.

Great campground! Staff are very polite and helpful. Sites are large. Bathrooms are clean. The whole campground is very well maintained. Definitely will return.

We love the park!! The park hosts are very nice. Even though the lake is very low, we still enjoy our time out there.

Site 15 was very nice and check in was easy. Unfortunately the lake is so low there isn't much activity on it

Enjoyed our stay, large and level sites, beautiful view of the lake, staff extremely friendly, defi6plan on coming back. Bathrooms clean and great water pressure in the shower
This site is long, paved and level with a ramada, fire pit, power and water. We felt we had a lot of privacy given the openness of the campground. We had a great unobstructed view of the lake.

We were in site 15. All of the sites along the lake had beautiful views of the lake. The campground was quiet and very clean. We will definitely come back again. Dont miss the heritage museum of the Texas Hill Country to dig for fossils.

The park is always well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only observation is that the sites recently are not mowed regularly, and the grass is very long. We had to use a weed eater to get some of the long grass cut down. We like walking the trail with our dogs, but the grass there was also too long, so we were not able to use the trail this time.

The park is always clean and quiet. The views are incredible and the employees/volunteers are so professional, helpful and reliable. We love this camp ground!

Really nice RV sites on a lake. The sites were of usual (very good) COE quality. Electric and water services were easy to connect to. The other loop (day use or tents, wasnt clear) and unkempt, which was in contrast to good maintenance on the RV loop.

The staff was incredible, from the time we entered the park to the time we left they were top notch, park is very clean and well kept. The only negative is not being able to camp over 14 days.

First time there, will always come back. The corps of engineers volunteers were super friendly and helpful. I can see myself doing something similar when I decide to go full-time in the RV. Thanks to everyone a Cranes Mill for a great experience, David and the girls

We live less than two hours away but this was our first stay here. The park was clean and well maintained, with many spacious lakeside sites. The gate attendants were friendly and helpful. The crappie dock is perfect for both adults and kids to fish. I especially loved walking my dog from the RV camping area down the road through the tent camping area, so quiet and beautiful!

Very nice lady at the gatehouse. She was cordial, friendly and very helpful. Very easy check in with no issues. The site was BEAUTIFUL ! Very nice campground, well kept and attractive. The only issue was that the facilities were a mess ! Dirty toilets and the shower area is in need of maintenance (painting and repair). The shower area was not heated well and temps were below freezing outside. Plenty of hot water in the shower though, so not a total loss.

We loved Cranes Mill. It’s clean and very pretty. The pavement made a nice walking track fir us to take our morning and evening walks. Town is only a few miles away with everything you need. The camp sponsors were also very nice and very helpful. We’ll be staying again.
