We just stayed the 1 night as our first time with camper and we had a great night. The front gate people were very helpful and seemed so sweet to make sure everyone was taken care of. Thank you

Love the East Fork park, beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful. However, need to remember no sewage. To beautiful to not have sewage. Recommend they put in sewage.

The gate attendants made it great. When I checked in I found the site selected to be underwater and muddy as all get out. They volunteered to fin d an available and dry site. Never had that before.

Major cold snap and we didn't lose power and the park took care of the water leaks caused by people leaving their water hooked up. The gate attendants were great and guided me to a site not under water. We are grateful for that.

The roads leading into East Fork are some of the roughest we've seen. The speed limit was irrelevant, as we could only go 20 mph in some places due to the extremely deep rutting in the asphalt. This road is about 5 years beyond needing to be resurfacedOnce in the park, the roads are still deeply rutted and potholes are everywhere. Some were as much as 8" deep, so be very careful when navigating to your site. The grass was trimmed, and the staff were all very friendly. We started out in Site 18, which was nice, but on the back side of the hill from the lake. The second day there we had a power failure on one leg of our 50 amp service. That meant only one of our AC units would run on the limited power from the remaining circuit. The friendly staff quickly allowed us to move to Site 37, which had a much better view of the lake. Again, very nice people. The park was busy, and lots of people used the day area for family gatherings. There was lots of kids playing and laughing, and everyone behaved well. The local PD patrolled every couple of hours, and we felt very safe at all times.Overall, I like these COE parks. The only real negative on this one was the horrible roads leading into the park, and the potholes and eroding shoulders upon entering the gate and randomly through the campground. Two stars off for that, but one extra star for the friendly staff manning the gate. It definitely needs a little sprucing up, but we had a good time. Total: 4/5 stars
