The lady at the counter was very helpful, very kind. I was amazed to see she was working in late hours when she found more people are interested to use the park on the night of northern lights was expected.

We stay here everytime we camp! The people are amazing and so friendly! We absolutely love staying at East Fork! We were born and raised in Wylie, camped here as kids and now we bring our kids to camp here! We actually went to use the showers for the first time and honestly, they were cleaner than any camping grounds we have ever been to!

Its a great spot. we had great time in the evening. Two of the three restrooms nearby were closed and had to walk for 10 mins to use the nearest one. Some campsites next to us did not have park grills. You would be helpless if you end up on that spot and if you do not have your Portable Charcoal Grill. We could not find kids play area mentioned on the Park maps. Reg swim beach spot - Water depth increases drastically with in few feet from shore. Be careful if you let you kids play around . All dumpsters were overflowing. The park needs more thrash dumpsters.

I had a tent site reserved, yet the gate leading to the tent loop was closed and locked. It didn't take long to see why... the road was impassable. So, my option was to park far from my site and trek everything in and out. Before I did that, I trekked to my site. Most of the sites were exposed to full sun. The grill wasn't in good order. I was the only camper on the entire tent loop and it just felt weird, so I decided to scrap my overnight stay. I walked back to my car and checked out a day-use site where I could prepare dinner, and then head back home. Those roads were pretty bad too, but the grills at the day-use sites were even worse than at my campsite. Most didn't even have the grill (grate) installed. Most of the steel drums were disintegrating. Overall, I think this location just stopped trying. I was disappointed and can't see myself going back.
