The roads are horrible. The bench in mens shower area is falling off the wall I almost slid off in floor!!!! BIS SAFETY HAZARD FOR GUESTS. But I doubt anyone cares

The roads and site pads could use a lot of repair. I have been camping in this park for over 40 years and this is the worse I have ever seen and sure its only going to get worse because it seems our opinions goes unnoticed, which is a shame because it used to be a beautiful place to stay !!!

Nice quiet camp ground. We will definitely be back. Grocery store is far away so stock up before you go!

The camp host named Jim thinks the rules they push on others does not apply to him and will tell you he can’t be touched. The others backed him up in an intimidation campaign trying to get us to leave that resulted in us calling the sheriffs dept out. When I reported it the COE didn’t seem to interested. Gave them another witnesses number but they have yet to call him. Par for the Lavon COE. Steer clear if you have pets.

Bathrooms needs fans or some kind of air conditioning to move the air. It gets very hot in there and after a shower you only sweat while trying to get dressed or brush your teeth.

We loved Clear Lake park, lot of trees and our neighbors were very friendly. We were in space # 6 Lots of shade and a wonderful lake view. Family visited and we had a great area to set up a game of horseshoe. Had a great time.

Nice campground local to the Dallas area. We enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend at Clear Lake campground. Camp hosts were friendly and very helpful. Campground road is worn out but still passable. Sites are spread out and we only needed one block to level the trailer, though had to line it up miss the crumbling pavement for our tongue jack. Interior sites are shaded, Exterior sites are lake-side, though our interior site had good lake views as well, owing to the generously spread out campsites. Full hookups. There's a nice, quiet, mowed trail a bit over 2.5 miles through the campground, boat ramp, and closed area of old day use and boat ramp. We will definitely revisit this local campground.
