As others have said in their reviews, this park needs some TLC. The lake was beautiful and sunsets stunning. The bathrooms and showers were better than most of the COE campgrounds we have stayed at recently. Showers were clean and hot.

Its been several years and still no work on this park. The entrance building is still abandoned with holes in the roof and the walls. The roads are decaying. They appear to have replaced some sewer plumbing but where they cut the interior roads, they did a poor patch job which has mostly washed out. The exit lane has washed out so badly its scary. Power in one loop has very low voltage.Time this park gets "Built back better!"

Lavonia is my favorite camping spot on lake Lavon.

Be sure to request a level pad. We had to use blocks under levelers to level unit

Well maintained grounds and clean restrooms. The sites are spaced far apart. It is an easy bike ride into Lavon.

Staff here is SUPER nice and friendly. Campground has added sewer connections which is great. Some of the sites are a bit hard to get into or get completely level but there is a new bath house and the view of the lake is fantastic, especially from Site 3 which is right on the top of the hill!

While this could be a very nice park, the sites are unlevel and in a state of disrepair. We have a senior pass which makes the camping $15.00 per night, I would never consider paying full price ($30.00) per night for this place since it doesn't appear that anything has been repaired in years.
