Beautiful park but not very well maintenanced. Four park host and contracted bath maintenance. Park host very helpful. Only 11 sites out of 38 are working.

This park is nice, clean and peaceful. The restrooms are well stocked with paper and clean. Hot water for the showers. Not too crowded. My dog and I will definitely spend a lot of time here since its only 20 minutes from home.

Lavonia RV park is the worst COE park we have stayed at. The roads are in horrible shape, picnic tables and grills are hit or miss, and many sites are seriously unlevel. Besides these problems, the ingress and egress ends at 10 PM. If you are not back by then, you must park on the outskirts and walk to your campsite. Also, beware of chiggers in the grass! On a positive note, there are some beautiful views from the picnic areas, and the prices are not terrible.

Got to the campsite at Sunset on Friday night. It had rained all day and was still sprinkling. The ground was saturated pretty badly and so it was muddy. The Camp hosts were friendly and accommodating. This was my first time there and I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was nice to have showers & restrooms there, but I couldn't get the hot water to work. Maybe it was a user error. Anyway, I would come back, but possibly plan for a little mud.

As always making the reservation on line was LONG and difficult Site 29 has a water problem with water running on both sides of the RV. This is a 6 months old problem and should be fixed or at least noted so it isn't used until fixed.

Nice location. Sights are not level. Even using all of our blocks and trying three sights we were unable to level completely.

You have GOT to repair the road at the exit gate!!! We refused to go out the exit because of potential damage to our 5th wheel jacks, so we waited for the entrance gate to clear of traffic and went out. Other than that, we had a good experience.

Really rundown. BBQ pits at many sites were between 37-45 degress angles. Not useful. RV parking pads probabably haven't been updated since 1968 when last the BBQ pits were installed.

This park we will not return to. Have stayed on several occasions because is close to family, but after our last visit we will find another even if we have to travel farther. The park is poorly maintained, grass not mowed, tree branches on the sites. Seems to have units (not park workers) that stay on a full time basis, we have been in the park in the spring and fall and see the same units on the same sites with obvious lack of movement. Sites are used for multi-car(parking on the road) parties and may have 4 or 5 tents on the same site. The roads are very bad, broken with chuck holes or just lack of road broken and gone across entire road. Sites are very unlevel, and Restrooms are in bad need of repair. Too bad the Fort Worth District pays so little attention to this park, could be a gem, right on the lake, with a beautiful view.
