I wish something could be done about the lake levels. I don't think a landowner upstream should have the right to build a dam on their property that affects public places. Other than the lake levels this place is awesome. There is plenty of space between the sites and it's always clean. Deer and wildlife are abundant and the noise level is great. We will continue to visit year after year with our familiy.

This is a beautiful location- rolling hills, oak trees, water (although the lake is low at the moment). The sites are very well kept, shaded, and have all of the amenities needed for a good camp. Very peaceful. The public showers could use some updating, but they functioned well. Coleman, the nearby small town, has some surprisingly good eating available.

As always the camping facilities and area are beautiful . Sites are spread out nicely. Wildlife sightings are a bonus. Third time staying here

We enjoyed our stay here, except was COLD! We really liked all the hosts. We had a good level spot. Enjoyed watching the deer every evening. Our only complaint was the motion sensor Ed shower heads. If you like dancing in the shower, it wont be a problem. One thing to note is that you have to enter through Friendship park. The actual entrance to Lakeside is closed up. It really is a great park.

Park was pretty quiet. Only a few campers and everyone was spread out. The bathrooms are allways clean and the camping slips are well manicured. Deer are abundant and fairly tame. This was our 3rd visit in the last year. The lake level is extremely low but we do not do any boating.

This is a lovely park with plenty of space. Camper spots are also far apart. We enjoyed the natural beauty of environs. We saw pelicans, ducks, and a heron in the lake. We also counted 16 deer one evening.
